The egg in history
- On the history of the egg in the world have written many papers, but in reality it is not known with certainty when the first bird domesticated, although Indian history talks of the year 3200 A.C.
- The history of the Egyptians and the Chinese shows that the birds have been laying eggs for man since 1.400 A.C.
- The early singing rooster and the regularity with which the first eggs appeared likely inspired the Chinese to describe the chickens as “the pet that knows the hour”.
- It is believed that Christopher Columbus brought the first chickens to America from descending which are now producing eggs. These are breeds originating in Asia.
